Commission an Ancestry Heirloom Portrait
Payment policy: When your order is placed a $200 deposit is required. We then will agree on the working sketch and the parameters of the project. A contract will be completed and a non-refundable deposit equaling one half the total project is due. The remaining balance is payable when the project is complete and ready to deliver.
Sales Tax: Projects delivered within the state of Iowa will be charged sales tax according to state law.
From Me to You: When I’ve finished the Ancestry Heirloom and you’ve given me the “go ahead” it will be time to ship. Paintings will be rolled in an extra strength mailing tube, via Fed Ex ground. You will be provided with insurance information and a tracking #.

Creation Time:
I will strive to finish your project within the 12 week period. If circumstances arrive that might delay delivery you will be advised as to a reasonable ship date.
Ancestry Heirloom Commissions
Only a handful of Ancestry Heirloom Commissions will be available each quarter. Join my mailing list if you want to know when they are available.
I will send out notices the week before they are open. All commissions will be taken on a first come/ first serve basis. We will work together to create a perfect memory for you and your family.
After Ordering:
I will need 2-3 samples of old family photos that we can choose from. You can send me photos through my email, taramoormanart@gmail.com. Once I’ve received the photos, we can discuss all the wonderful ideas you have for the artwork. I will prepare a working sketch for you and with your approval get to work on it.
Pricing: Starting prices range from $410 for an 11x14 up to $1,500 for a 22x30 for one figure. Additional figures, requirements such as cars, houses, and other elements will be quoted separately.
A fine art portrait is a treasured heirloom. It’s a perfect way to celebrate your family and ancestors. I use vintage photographs as inspiration and bring them to life with use of color and design. Take the first step towards your very unique Ancestry Heirloom Portrait.
